Rising Stars, Andrew Lincoln & Jon Hamm

English actor Andrew Lincoln is the son of a civil engineer father and a South African mother, a nurse. He spent his early childhood in Hull before his family relocated to Bath when Lincoln was 10. He was educated at Beechen Cliff School in Bath, and then the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Best known for his current role as Rick Grimes on TNT’s The Walking Dead, this up and coming actor has a lucrative resume. My favorite of his many roles was in Love Actually where he played a man in love with his best friend’s new bride.

There is something about Andrew Lincoln that exerts trust and confidence. A fire in his eyes, there is no dismissal of his passion but his talent is in the bringing the unexpected to his characters.  His translation of dialog, emotion and expression makes him unique and interesting to watch.

Jon Hamm is the famed star of Mad Men, in his portrayal of Don Draper he has earned critical acclaim and quickly made a name for himself as a versatile actor. He also has quite the resume with many uncredited appearances in various films such as the A-Team, Shrek Forever, and Bridesmaids. His lists of credits are becoming so numerous we will soon be playing the John Hamm game alongside the Kevin Bacon Game.

One of my favorite guest appearances is on SNL. He was hilarious and with his old school looks and charm I admit I swooned. Keep an eye out for him as he seems to pop in at the most unexpected times.

While he is still busy filming Mad Men he has several TV and major motion pictures in production. A Young Doctor’s Notebook, a Television Series also starring Daniel Radcliffe -Using a sharply realistic and humorous style, the author Bulgakov reveals his doubts about his own competence and the immense burden of responsibility, as he deals with a superstitious and poorly educated people struggling to enter the modern age. This acclaimed collection represents personal and insightful observations on youth, isolation and progress. Clear History, Major Motion Picture 2014, also stars Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes, Michael Keaton, and Larry David. A disgraced former marketing executive plots revenge against his former boss who made millions from the electric car company the once owned. Million Dollar Arm, Drama 2013, A sports agent stages an unconventional recruitment strategy to get talented Asian cricket players to play Major League Baseball.
